Tea Tree Oil? Yes!

We all probably came across many home remedies involving tea tree oil. Personally us at Naturalization love Tea Tree Oil, and it makes a great natural remedy for that stubborn acne. Tea Tree oil will help prevent acne and ease the acne scars. Tea Tree acts as solvent that penetrates itself in the pores to clear and prevent the bacteria build up. So lets get started to a clean, naturally clear face!

Directions:

Dilute some of the tea tree oil, only using a small sample on a cotton swab. Dab onto the face where it needs it the most. (the t-zone of the face), then apply moisturizer afterwards!

So easy right!?

Tea Tree oil is natural and a great asset for your face to promote clean, clear and healthy skin! We at Naturalization thank you so much for reading this blog and we hope it helps!

Till next time!

An Avocado Mask? Mhmm.

Avocados? Heck yeah! They're extremely delicious and not to mention healthy for you. These little guys contain polyunsaturated fats, which can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. They also contain iron, potassium, magnesium, vitamin A, B, E & K... Which is even better!

Ingredients
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1 tbsp of Honey
- 1 tbsp of hot water

Steps:
  1. You first want to make sure that your skin is clean of oils/makeup
  2. Scoop out the avocado from its shell, and dispense it into a small bowl
  3. Squeeze about half a tablespoon of honey into the same bowl
  4. Begin to stir slowly, while adding the tablespoon of hot water
  5. Stir until it turns into a thick paste, and begin to apply all over the face
  6. Allow the mask to settle in for about 15 minutes
  7. Rinse & pat dry
This amazing and simple facial will help soothe your skin. It also reaches into the deepest layers of the epidermis, and gives the skin more elasticity so that your face wouldn't feel dry as often.

Baking soda?... yes Baking soda!

As we know, baking soda is used for multiple reasons! Mainly it is used for baking, cleaning and you may have heard that it can be used to whiten teeth. Well all of this is true! Another great reason baking soda can be used, is for a beneficial exfoliant! Baking soda has small enough grains that make for a gentle exfoliant. Beat this dry winter and give your skin a fresh new boost by trying this exfoliant! Heres what to do... trust me its simple! Just mix it in with your facial cleanser that you are already using, or you can make a paste by just mixing water! This remedy is also known for clearing acne, awesome isnt it? All In One; Cleanser,Rich Moisturizer & Skin Tightener - Greek Yogurt

Doesn't everybody like...or should I say love yogurt? It's so creamy, smooth and full of goodness! Well, since it is now winter and we ladies are battling the cold & dry weather...Shouldn't it be time to take care better care of it with some D.I.Y all natural remedies? Why not right? You know exactly what the ingredient contains and what is going onto your skin. Fortunately, greek yogurt can also be used as a facial rather than just being eaten. Greek yogurt contains many beneficial agents that can help achieve more healthy & youthful looking skin.

Milk, fat, protein & lactic acid: All of these agents work well together when it is applied directly onto your skin. It helps restore dry skin, tightens up the pores, smoothens out the skin x2 because of the fat and milk, also helps with detoxifying and deeply cleansing your skin.

Steps:
1. Begin with a clean and dry face
2. Scoop out 2-4 tablespoons of greek yogurt into a small bowl
3. Making sure that your hands are clean, dip your fingers into the bowl and begin applying the       yogurt onto your face
4. Massage gently, covering your whole face with the yogurt
5. Allow the yogurt to sit for about 5-7 minutes, letting it work
6. Turn on the tap, and rinse off with lukewarm water
7. Pat down face with a facecloth and apply some moisturizer if needed (I don't think its necessary)

Your skin will immediately feel as smooth as ever!

Egg Facial Mask; Comedone (Blackhead) Removal

What can be as annoying as acne on your face? In my opinion, it would be blackheads... Sounds gross right? Even the name of it sounds terrible, because it is literally little black dots (containing of bacterias and oils) that just sit in your pores until extraction, or even worse.... until they turn into little craters because of the bacteria in the clogged pore that is eating away your skin! YUCK RIGHT? I know I know. Well why not stir up some simple and natural mixtures to help fight and reduce the amount of comedones? Can you take a guess what we'll be using this time? THAT'S RIGHT! EGGS!

Benefits of this egg facial mask include
  • It removes any dirt or debris from your pores
  • Eggs contain agents that help tighten pores
  • Gets rid of any traces of oil on the skin
  • Helps prevent future breakouts and helps treat current ones
  • Helps reduce the appearance of acne scars
  • Reduces the look of fine lines
Tools needed to make this egg facial mask:
  • One large egg
  • 2 small bowls
  • A fork
  • Facial tissue
  • Fan brush (Optional)
Steps to be taken:
  1. Separate egg whites from the yolk; one in each bowl
  2. Whisk egg whites until foamy + fluffy
  3. Use your fan brush/finger tips to apply egg whites onto face
  4. Rip the facial tissue into 3x4 cm, and place it piece by piece, all over face while applying more egg whites onto the applied tissue pieces
  5. Allow egg whites to dry (10-15 minutes)
  6. Slowly peel tissue pieces off
Finally, what you can do with the yolk is....Simply whisk it as you did with the whites, and apply it directly onto your face. The yolk contains natural moisturizers that help soften your skin. After letting it dry for 5 minutes, rinse and pat dry. No need to apply any kind of moisturizers. Your skin will immediately start glowing!

Beat this Dry Winter with.. Coconut Oil!

One thing about winter is the cold, dry air. I know for myself my face, hair, skin, all gets dry from this crazy, dry weather. From our previous blogs we have mentioned other natural remedies that can also help with this weather, but what myself and friends have been trying, is coconut oil hair masks!

The last few months, when this weather has really taken a toll on our skin, and hair the most, I recently tried the coconut hair masks!

How to:

Take an evening to yourself, heat up the coconut oil, apply the coconut all over your scalp and hair (to add extra shine) leave in for about 20 minutes, rinse, and VOILA your hair should be feeling so refreshed and moisturized.

The main reason I love all the natural remedies, is well..... because it's natural! Why would we want chemicals on our face or body, or even hair. Making this transition for myself, I have realized a great impact on everything.

I hope from reading this blog you learn a little bit of insight of what you can do for a naturally better you, and don't forget to read our other helpful blogs on other great natural remedies, all brought to you by Naturalization!
